It’s time for the September RCAFW!
This month’s featured artists are:
PAZ!! We’re so excited to host local mural artist Pazuzu! The south end is covered in their art and their unique style is iconic! Our building now features 2 large murals of theirs! Make sure to check them out when you visit!
Moon & Cauldron! Laura Irene is a multi-media, queer, and autistic artist and maker based in Seattle. Her current focus is found in crafting spooky or body-inspired ceramics, alongside playful crochet amigurumi. Her work reflects a blend of texture, remade nostalgia, and heartfelt design. Laura’s recent pieces seek to marry function and fun through the presence of ghosts, bats, and all things Madge—all handmade in her home studio. An active member of her local creative community, she draws inspiration from everyday life, turning mundane materials into keepsake art filled with warmth and personality.
Vern’s Whirlygigs! Vernon is a local artisan who makes wind powered art with his son Ari! Vernon makes wooden whirlygigs to display outside in one's lawn, or inside on a windowsill. Come by to see Vern's LAST ever batch of whirlygigs!
