Cyborg Unicorn Story Hour
You are cordially invited to the Autumn Cyborg Unicorn Story Hour! (CUSH) Halloween themed! Costumes are encouraged but not required! :) Cyborg Unicorn Story Hour is an open mic reading series in the Seattle area. We will have up to fifteen or so seven-minute open mic slots. (Yes, that is more than an hour, but I like the phrase "story hour" too much!) Science Fiction, Fantasy or Horror stories are encouraged but not required. Songs and other kinds of performances are also welcome! Please come on by if you are interested in sharing or listening to strange tales! Sign up for open mic starts at 5:30 PM. Readings will begin at 6 PM. Feel free to invite other writers, performers, or fiction fans that you know!

Fall Mead Festival
Join us on Sunday October 12th for a celebration of WA Mead! Nine local meaderies will be on hand to pour their Fall favorites in our covered outdoor street cafe. Come mead the makers, sample a variety of meads, and take home a bottle or two.
There will be three sessions from 12-2p, 130-330p, and 3-5p. Participating Mead Makers include:

Tickets include six tokens to be redeemed for 2.5oz mead pours. Extra tokens may be purchased at the event. We will be selling pølse, pretzels, mulled cider, and other snacks & drinks to be enjoyed within the sampling space. You may also purchase bottles of your favorite meads to take home with you.
Guests may join us inside the beer hall after sampling meads for our full kitchen and bar menu, including full size mead pours.
Your ticket is only valid for the session you select. We have limited space. Designated Drivers are welcome to join without a ticket.
