It’s time for the November RCAFW!
This month’s featured artists are:
Lisa Jordan with Kyr Creates - I am a local watercolor artist inspired by life around Seattle; I focus mainly on cityscapes, crows, and watercolor cocktail still-lifes.
Mochi Gardens - Hi there! I'm Isaac, the creator behind Mochi Gardens and bouqs&cats, two brands that blend my love for cats, cannabis, gardening, and music into unique creative experiences.
I grew up in Seattle and graduated from the UW, Go Dawgs (also cats). I fill my free days camping and hiking with my wife, Kat (yes, this is her name). I enjoy fingerboarding, other board sports and building things collaboratively in a creative space. You might find me at Greenlake, Carkeek, or Magnuson Park—if you do, wave a paw and say hello! I keep the lights on as a strategy consultant helping small and medium businesses operationalize and scale so they can do bigger and cooler things. Our home serves as a workshop to pioneer new additions to our wraparound catio (Milo's personal favorite).
Trusty John’s Junk Shop - Trusty John’s Junk Shop is less a store and more a shipwreck of clay curiosities that somehow washed ashore. Featuring dragon eggs collected from across the smoking sea in the shadowlands of Asshai to the humble nests in Burke. The dragon's essence is bound in a special "birthing kiln" that allows you to take home the elemental fire of a dragon contained within the lifeblood of terra firma. Also showcasing porcelain skull dice that roll only unlucky numbers as gamblin is a sin. As penance, any ill gotten gamblin' money can be deposited directly into Trusty John's treasure chest. For those who shun the sea and instead toil the fields, green thumbs are available for purchase to increase the yield of your crops. You want a thumb? I'll get you a thumb. WITH nail polish.
