Noe Navarro is a renowned Costa Rican electric guitarist and singer-songwriter of Afro-Latin American fusion music. She has been recognized for her contributions as lead guitarist for important Costa Rican projects led by women, such as Nakury and Nou Red. Her songs are characterized by the use of electric guitar, vocals, and beatboxing. They tell personal stories, full of metaphors and fantasy, that invite listeners to look inward and question the hegemonic structures of contemporary society through tenderness, introspection, and inner dialogue. Based in Seattle, she seeks to connect with independent artists worldwide and strengthen the role of women and gender-diverse individuals in the music industry.
Noe Navarro, es una prestigiosa guitarrista eléctrica y cantautora costarricense de música afro-fusión latinoamericana. Ha sido reconocida por sus aportes como guitarrista principal de importantes proyectos costarricenses liderados por mujeres, como lo son Nakury y Nou Red. Sus canciones se caracterizan por el uso de guitarra eléctrica, canto y beatbox. Relatan historias personales, cargadas de metáforas y fantasías, que invitan a mirar hacia adentro y cuestionar las estructuras hegemónicas de la sociedad actual, a través de la ternura, la introspección y el diálogo interior. Radicada en Seattle, busca conectar con artistas independientes de todo el mundo y fortalecer el papel de las mujeres y disidencias en la industria musical.
